Caera's notes: I wrote "Longing" years ago, and there were a couple of lines I was never quite satisfied with as a writer. As we were editing our recordings for "Prologue", I finally figured out what I'd prefer to say in those lines instead. We went forward with releasing it the way we had already recorded it, but we also agreed to re-record the vocals with the new lyrics later. This is the newer version.

I long for a lover whose heart is like the sea
One who knows our source and can journey there with me
Whose gentle touch soothes deep through my skin
And whose beauty shines from a treasure deep within

verse 1:
My heart has been hurt and I have been scared
I have fled my heart and have taken to the air
I flown so high, it didn't seem real
Now I'm back with trust in my heart's strength to heal

verse 2:
My heart is a place I myself have just now known
It's a vibrant place where all life is nurtured and grown
And hidden deep where there can be no hate
Ancient temples full of treasure lie in wait


verse 3:
I've searched o'er the mountains and over the seas
But the love I seek so far had eluded me
So now I shine my own inner light
That she may find me as I search for her by night
